Many of Regency’s highly efficient wood inserts meet current EPA standards. This means that they produce less than 4.5 grams per hour with many less than 2.0 grams per hour, of particulates (smoke and ash) into the atmosphere. The cleanest burning wood inserts utilize three stage combustion burn technology, a process that burns almost all gasses, smoke and ash completely resulting in a higher temperature burn and very limited emissions.
